Synopsis (Spanish):
Presentando un nuevo punto de vista sobre el tema bélico, este interesante y profundo drama, muy espiritual y humano, esta basado en la intervención de los Estados Unidos en el conflicto entre Vietnam del Norte y Vietnam del Sur donde 48,000 puertorriqueño fueron llamados para servir como parte de las tropas estadounidenses. Carlos (Jorge Castillo) y Raul (Jimmy Navarro), junto a otros, son designados a una peligrosa misión de reconocimiento y antes de llegar al punto militar señalado, caen en una emboscada. Los dos logran escapar y en su viaje de regreso, un estado de paranoia, temor y reflexión se apodera de ellos. Mientras se desplazan perdidos por el bosque, se presenta la dificil situación que la madre y la hermana de Carlos (Adamari López) pasan en la isla provocada por su ausencia.
Synopsis (English):
Presenting a new point of view on war, this interesting and intense drama, spiritually and humanly inspired, is based on the United States intervention in the armed conflict between the North and South Vietnam where 48,000 Puerto Ricans were drafted to fight with their American counterparts. Carlos (Jorge Castillo) and Raul (Jimmy Navarro), along with other soldiers, are assigned on a dangerous reconnaissance mission, but before reaching their objective, they are ambushed. Both escaped and on their way back, fear, paranoia and introspective reactions overwhelmed them. While wandering lost in the jungle, a vivid image of Carlos? mother and sister (Adamari Lopéz) portrays the critical situation they are coping with back in the island due to his absence.
